On Wednesday, May 23 (2012) The Huffington Post celebrated its first anniversary in Toronto.
The event took place at AOL’s offices on Spadina and wielded a heavy-hitting guest list. Most notably, Arianna Huffington (Founder of The Huffington Post) was in attendance, and Conrad Black – in his first major event appearance since returning to Canada.
Fresh from Ottawa, Olivia Chow stopped by and joined Canada’s Minister of Finance Jim Flaherty as the evening’s most notable political partiers.
AOL Canada and the Huffington Post Media Group also announced plans to launch sites in B.C. and Alberta.
